My Bio
I am a fantasty/fairy/nature-based artist that creates all things unusual, whimsical and "Other Worldly" in watercolors, ink and pastels. Fairies, frogs, dreamscapes, fairy tales, dragons and other whimsical creatures are a favorite subject matter. I love to paint, create, design, sew, garden, drink wine, eat chocolate and run long distance. My purse is a rubber chicken I have named "Omelette" and I also love to laugh...a lot!

...with Arches oil papers! So, in an attempt to deviate from my usual 300/400 pound cold press Arches paper (seriously, the only paper I use and have loved for over 20 years); I tried their 140 lb., cold-pressed oil block pad. I've used it on some of my mini paintings/ink illustrations and liked the durability and ability to 'take' pastel, ink, watercolor and acrylic paints. I tend to work with at least 3 mediums with my gouache/watercolors, so this was a positive paper experiment. Okay, enough 'shop' talk...
